The Science Cabinet is a coalition of undergraduate science-, engineering-, mathematics-, and health-related groups at Harvard College. Its purpose is to foster a more cohesive scientific community at Harvard. It will achieve this goal in several ways:
- The Science Cabinet will encourage collaboration among its member organizations by planning campus-wide social and community outreach events.
- The Science Cabinet will create and maintain resources (such as a centralized publicity newsletter and a community calendar) which will facilitate and streamline communication, enabling its member organizations hold more successful events.
- The Science Cabinet will serve as a forum to discuss shared best practices among student groups.
- The Science Cabinet will connect student groups more closely to Harvard faculty through its Advisory Board and work to integrate the activities of its member organizations with the initiatives of the Harvard faculty and administration.
